Therapy and Consultative Services

In addition to our veterinary care and boarding services, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge offers therapy and consultative services as well. Our goal is to keep your pet healthy and running around for as long as possible, with consideration to the many changes that come with age.

Therapy for Pets

Is your pet experiencing arthritis pain or recovering from an operation? If the answer is yes, we can put an end to that pain. Our goal at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge is to relieve pet pain with our laser therapy service.

Laser Therapy: Laser therapy is another treatment option that was once used solely for humans, but is now being used to treat dogs, cats, and other pets. It involves the use of light energy to stimulate tissues to repair themselves, while providing pain relief at the same time. The laser uses focused light of various wavelengths to stimulate tissue at and below the surface of your pet’s skin. Because laser therapy affects tissues at the cellular level, it leads to improved circulation, decreased inflammation, and the release of endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers. At our clinic, we use laser therapy to treat a variety of conditions, including post-operative pain management, musculoskeletal injuries, wound healing, back pain, and arthritis.

Nutritional Counseling

Your pet’s diet is one of the most important aspects of their overall health, especially as they age. Although some pets require special food for continued health, all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep them happy, healthy, and active. We offer both general and specific diets that are customized to age, lifestyle, and needs.

One of the most common health issues we see in pets, in terms of diet, is obesity. If you suspect that your pet is overweight and in need of a diet change, our staff can determine their body conditioning score to create a diet plan that’s tailored specifically for overweight pets.
