All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge in Rittman, OH, is staffed with a team of nearly a dozen support staff. Managers and Supervisors
Ashley Jean Mohn
Sally L. Markley, Practice Manager
Sally Markley has worked with her husband, Dr. Markley, to build their veterinary practice over the past 35 years. She served as the practice manager for 22 years while also working in the field of special education as a teacher, special education director, and school psychologist. After retiring from the education field in 2013, Sally has returned full-time as the practice manager at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge.
As the practice manager, her favorite aspect of working at the clinic is the fast-paced, yet caring environment that encompasses multiple aspects of pet care and client education. She also enjoys working with so many talented individuals who provide exemplary veterinary medical care for hospitalized pets and preventive care as well as in the boarding and daycare facilities.
Sally and Dr. Larry Markley have been married for over 38 years and have five grown children: Laura, Lyndsay, LaVonne, LuAnn, and Larry. They also have also have five grandchildren. Their four-legged family members include five dogs, six cats, two horses, and eight “grandpets.” In her spare time, Sally loves to read, travel, and visit with family and friends.
Derri Tucker, Business Manager
Derri attended college at Akron University-Wayne College and chose to pursue a career in business management because she loves working with numbers. As the business manager at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge, she enjoys being able to help clients and their pets. She also enjoys working with such a great team. When she's not at work, she spends time with her husband and watches her grandkids as they busy themselves with their various activities. Although she doesn't have any pets of her own, she has several grandpets, including four dogs named Samson, Delilah, Goliath, and Luna and two cats named Simba and Biscuit.
Lisa Malone, Front Desk Supervisor
Lisa joined the All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge team in June 2006 after graduating and earning her veterinary assistant certificate from Wayne College. Her ability to work well with people and her love for animals is what led her to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. Now, as the practice's front desk supervisor, she loves being part of a great team and being a great leader. Lisa is the proud pet mom of two boxers named Zoey and Harley and a French bulldog named Weezie. In her spare time, she enjoys just being outside and being a supportive Army wife.
Ashley Jean Mohn, RVT Supervisor
Ashley earned her Associate of Applied Science from Cuyahoga Community College in Parma, OH. She is a registered veterinary technician (RVT) and serves as the RVT Supervisor at All Creatures. With the many challenges of her position, she loves being able to teach pet owners and her fellow colleagues new and interesting ways to help pets. Ashley’s background includes participation in FFA and 4-H as well as completion of the Animal Care Program at Medina County Career Center. She also is a firefighter and EMT. Ashley shares her home with a dog named Bella, four cats named Twigston, Gunther, Checkers, and Slushy, and an orange wing Amazon parrot named ChiChi. When she's not at the clinic, she spends her free time with her family and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
Crystal Rogers, Surgery Supervisor
Crystal joined our team in October 2007. She attended The University of Akron/Wayne College and Penn-Foster Veterinary Technician School. For years, she wanted to learn how to make a difference in helping save and protect animals in a medical way, so she chose to work as a veterinary technician. Crystal enjoys assisting veterinarians during orthopedic surgeries. Crystal is the proud pet mom of a rottweiler/bloodhound mix named Bear and a rottweiler/husky mix named Allie. In her spare time, she loves geocaching and spending time with her family.
Dustie Brumfield, Kennel Supervisor
Dustie has always loved animals and wanted to do her part to help them, which is why she chose to work in the veterinary industry. She's been the kennel supervisor at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge since October 2014. Her favorite part of working at the practice is the opportunity to learn something new every day and getting to watch animals become healthy again. Dustie is the proud mother of a daughter named Skyla. She's also a pet mom of three cats named Lilly, Sadie, and Sugar and a dog named Creed. In her free time, she loves to paint, draw, sing, make things out of duct tape, and play with her daughter.
Casey Bishop, Lodge Manager
Casey joined the All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge team in June 2010 after attending college at Heidelberg University. As the lodge at All Creatures Manager, she is responsible for the daily care of each boarding or daycare pet. Casey conducts behavior assessments and organizes daily activities—all while learning something new at the practice and being faced with new challenges every day. She and her boyfriend, Ben, have a son, Jase, and a pitbull named Beamer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, disc golfing, running 5Ks, and camping.
Amanda Farnsworth, RVT
Amanda has been part of our team since February, 2011, after earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in veterinary technology from The Vet Institute at Bradsford School in Columbus, OH. As one of our registered veterinary technicians, her favorite aspect of her position is assisting with surgical, dental, and CT scan procedures. Amanda is the proud pet mom of three coon hounds named Sue, Maizie, and Frank.
Katie Trogdon, Receptionist
Katie joined the All Creatures Veterinary Clinic & Lodge team in June 2007. One of her favorite aspects of working at the clinic is seeing all of the different pets that come in on a daily basis and building relationships with her clients. When she's not helping pets at work, she cares for her own pets, a dog named Bo and a cat named Snow. She also enjoys working out and reading a good book.
Michaela Brownfield, Lodge Staff Receptionist
In July 2012, Michaela became our lodge staff receptionist. Her position allows her the privilege of meeting new “dog friends” on a regular basis, which is always the highlight of her day. She also loves seeing the positive behavior of pets that love coming to the Lodge. Michaela is married and has two cats named Emmie and Bronx. In her leisure time, she enjoys working out, spending time outdoors and enjoying time with her family and cats.
